Faq

Hotel Relais des Glaciers is an accommodation which is all about the mountains. We like to give our guests the typical atmosphere of a mountain home, with a rustic and welcoming atmosphere.

Booking

Is it possible to book online?

Absolutely! You can go directly to our website, search for the dates, check for availability and, with just a few clicks, you can book your holiday.

When is a reservation deemed confirmed?

A reservation is confirmed upon receiving a credit card number as a guarantee or a deposit with bank transfer, in addition to our the confirmation e-mail. All of this is to be done in the terms and by the deadline specified in the offer.

The availability and rates of rooms and treatments are highly variable based on occupancy trends, scheduled events and seasonality. We invite anyone with concerns or problems in confirming a reservation to contact us so that we can find the best available solution together.

If I have an unforeseen event, is it possible to cancel the reservation?

Of course, our cancellation terms are provided at the time of booking itself.

To keep your worries at bay, you can activate "Booking Protection" insurance from Allianz Global Assistance (you'll find the link on the home page of our website), the insurance policy that protects your vacation in case of cancellation of your reservation, interruption of your stay or delayed arrival at our hotel.

Do all rooms have balconies?

No, not all rooms have balconies. When booking, you can expressly ask for availability of a room with a balcony.

Is there a tourist tax to be paid?

Yes, the prices listed do not include the tourist tax, which is €1.60 per person per day per guest, VAT not applicable and for a maximum of 7 days.

From what time is the room available on the day of arrival?

We guarantee that your room will be ready from 3 p.m., but you can arrive at the hotel in the early morning and take advantage of some services, including the Wellness Center, from 10 a.m.

How can I pay at check out?

We accept the following payment methods: cash, debit card, credit card (except American Express).

How can I be informed about upcoming offers or events?

Food

Is breakfast included in the price of all rooms?

Yes, breakfast is included and is our strong point! Every morning, you'll enjoy a hearty breakfast buffet featuring homemade cakes, cookies and jams, fresh fruit, show cooking with eggs, pancakes, crepes and more.

What are the breakfast times?

We have thought of pampering our guests with a very special service: we wish to allow everyone to enjoy the well-deserved rest that is only right to expect from a vacation. For this reason, breakfast service is guaranteed throughout the morning, from 7:30 am until 11:30 am!

Do you have an in-house restaurant?

There is no restaurant here, but we are located in the city center and the places where you can eat in Champoluc will win you over! We are at your complete disposal to recommend a place that suits your needs: from a gourmet restaurant...to the typical local food, to the mountain hut at high altitude, to the pizzeria.
If, on the other hand, you just want to grab a bite to eat, don't worry...we have a small menu available all day long from 12:30 a.m. to 9 p.m.! You will be able to taste: a selection of cold cuts, sandwiches, bruschetta...

Are you organized for food intolerances and people with celiac disease?

Of course! We pay special attention to the needs of guests with intolerances and allergies. In order to provide you with the best possible service, we kindly ask that you mention this when making your reservation.

Wellness Center

Does the hotel have a wellness center?

Yes, you will have the opportunity to relax in our wellness center throughout your stay, from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., with Finnish sauna, Turkish steam bath, Roman mountain herb caldarium, bio sauna, ice fountain, experience showers, Scottish shower, 10-person whirlpool with water play and relaxation area with herbal tea station.

Does the hotel have a swimming pool?

We have a heated outdoor hot tub, which is very popular, especially during winter days under a nice snowfall!

Is it possible to use the spa and the outdoor pool on the day of departure?

Our goal is to ensure maximum relaxation for all our guests. For this reason, to avoid overcrowding of the spa, the wellness center and outdoor pool are not included in the offer on the day of your departure. We encourage you, in any case, to contact the front desk to check availability on the day of your departure.

Sports

Does the hotel have a gym?

No, but we can recommend to our guests some external facilities in the nearby.

Do you have a ski depot?

We have a ski depot at the RENTAPLAY store, which we have an agreement with and is very conveniently located right at the departure point of the cable car, with direct access to the ticket office and escalators. You will be entitled to free storage of skis, boots and poles throughout your vacation. If you need to rent equipment, you will get a 10% discount by showing at the store the coupon that we will provide when you check in.

How far are the ski lifts? Do you provide a shuttle service?

The ski lifts are only 850 meters away. We will take you to the starting point of the cable car every morning. The shuttle departs every half hour, starting at 8:30 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. If you wish, you can also take advantage of the service to come back to the hotel, at 4 or 4:30 p.m. but, in this case, prior reservation is required.

If I don't ski, is there still something to do in Champoluc?

Of course! Our beautiful Valley offers so many possibilities, even for those who don't like alpine skiing: from cross-country skiing, to snowshoeing trails...from ice skating rinks to relaxing treatments offered by our wellness center...and so much more!

Are you far from the center of Champoluc?

In fact, it is quite the opposite! We are right in the center of Champoluc, just 1 minute from the main street.

How can I get to Champoluc?

Go to the "LOCATION" page of the website of the hotel to find out all the details.

Where can we leave our car?

The hotel provides a large free outdoor parking lot, located right at the back of the facility. Otherwise, if you wish, indoor parking spaces are also available for a daily fee of 8€. Places are limited and, for this reason, we recommend booking in advance.

I plan not to get there by car...are there other ways to get to the hotel?

Absolutely! There are plenty of public and private transportation services to reach our hotel...
